Best Truck Side Wraps and Stripe Decals: Lifted Pickups, Ram, Ford, Cybertruck
By Decal Scout editorial · Published · Updated
The strongest value in truck graphics right now is the printed rear-side panel: a single 76x25-inch full-color vinyl piece that covers the bed side of a pickup, sold by Stickalz at $135 in designs from distressed American flags to geometric camo and racing stripes. It is a fraction of the cost of a shop wrap, installs in an afternoon, and leaves the doors and hood in factory paint. Measure your bed side first; a 76-inch panel fits a standard 6.5-foot bed with room to trim, while short beds will need the design cropped.
What a 'rear side 76x25' panel actually covers
Almost every truck design in the Stickalz feed is listed as a Rear side 76x25 variant at $135. That is a 76-inch-long, 25-inch-tall printed panel, which maps to the bed side of a full-size pickup from the cab seam to the taillight. It does not cover the doors, fenders, hood, or tailgate. If you want the design to continue across the doors, you need a second panel and an honest look at whether the pattern will line up at the seam. Repeating textures such as honeycomb, brushed steel, or camo hide the join; a landscape or a single big eagle does not.
On a sports car listing the same size is printed as Rear Side 26x76; it is the same area rotated to suit a lower, longer quarter panel.
Printed stripe panels are the simplest way to get a factory-look graphics package without cutting and aligning individual stripes. In the feed, the Retro Red Stripe Truck Decal Kit, the Off-Road Velocity and Desert Racer speed-stripe wraps, and the Red Velocity racing streak are all $135 rear-side panels. Because the stripe is printed on a single sheet, its width and angle are fixed by the design; what you control is vertical placement. Standard practice is to run the main stripe through the body crease or just below the bed rail so it reads as one line from fifty feet away.
For cars rather than trucks, the Side Stripes Full Color Car Vinyl Design panels ($215, 22x70 inches) do the same job on a sedan or coupe door-and-quarter run.
Distressed American flag designs are the most common theme in the truck lineup, and with reason; the worn texture hides small installation flaws and minor rock chips better than a clean gloss color. The Patriotic Freedom, Cracked American Flag, Distressed American Flag, and Texas Pride panels are all listed as matte vinyl at $135. Geometric and desert camo polygon designs (Geometric Camo, Desert Camo Geometric) use a repeating pattern, which is the one style you can safely extend across a door seam without the mismatch showing.
Several listings call out a finish in the title: Premium Matte on the flag and racing-stripe panels, Gloss or Matte on the Blue Splash off-road wrap. Matte hides orange peel and swirl marks and reads as a modern factory option; gloss pops color and is easier to clean but shows every squeegee mark if you rush the install. Stickalz listings do not state whether the base film is cast or calendered vinyl, so if that matters for your build, ask before ordering. As a general rule, a flat bed side is the friendliest surface for any vinyl, including calendered film, because there are no compound curves to make it shrink back.
The Cybertruck's flat stainless panels are close to ideal for a printed side graphic, and the feed has a dedicated set: Matte Black Geometric, Graffiti Street Art, Rusted Armor, Rusted Steel, Urban Tactical Camouflage, Brushed Steel Gradient, and Cyber Red Line Tech, all $135 rear-side panels. Stainless needs the same alcohol wipe as paint, and the factory surface has a fine grain direction; lay the panel with the squeegee strokes following the grain so the film beds evenly. For the RAM TRX there is a Red Circuit tech design, and a Rustic Patina Ram 1500 wrap that is offered with an Air-Release adhesive option.
Fit checklist before you order
Measure bed side length from cab to taillight and height from bed rail to the body line you want covered. Compare to 76x25 inches.
Decide whether the graphic stops at the wheel arch or wraps into it; a wrap into the arch needs relief cuts and heat.
Check for bed-side steps, fuel doors, and tie-down cleats that will need cut-outs.
Buy two panels for two sides. Listings are priced per side.
Usually with trimming. A 5.5-foot bed side is around 66 to 70 inches, so the panel is cropped at one end. Pick a design that tolerates cropping, such as a texture or stripe, not a centered emblem.
Will a bed-side decal damage the paint?
Not on healthy OEM paint. It can pull resprayed or peeling clear coat, so check for chips and repainted areas before installing.
Is one panel enough for both sides?
No. Each $135 listing is one side; order two, and confirm whether the design is mirrored for the opposite side if the image is directional.
